Samyang 12mm f/2.8 ED AS The NCS Fisheye is a manually focused ultra wide angle lens that produces a so-called fisheye effect, ie a distinctly curved rendering and a 180 degree panoramic angle of view. It is designed to be full frame compatible but can also be used on cameras with smaller sensor formats, such as APS-C or Micro Four Thirds. Optical construction The lens is solidly built with a metal barrel and a wide and smooth manual focus ring. On the inside there are 12 glass elements divided in 8 groups, where 2 aspherical elements (ASP) and 3 elements with extra low dispersion (ED) provides high sharpness and resolution and low chromatic aberration.It also features Samyang 's advanced anti-reflex coating NCS (Nano Coating System), which contains nano-crystals. The NCS provides better transmission, increased resistance to reflections and higher contrast than a normal coating. Features 12mm fisheye lens with 180° angle of view (on a full frame camera) Aspheric elements, ED glass and nano Coating provides high image quality Manual focus with wide and smooth focus ring Detachable lens hood Available for many camera models
