The Samyang 20mm f/1.8 ED AS UMC is a high speed, manually focused wide-angle lens made to support full frame cameras from Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony. It is also available in mounts for various APS-C and Micro Four Thirds models.The large aperture, f/1.8, means the lens can be used to photograph in poor lighting conditions or to make a main subject stand out against a blurry background. The 20 cm minimum focusing also adds versatility to the lens.The optical construction consists of 13 elements in 12 groups. Two aspherical elements counteracts spherical aberraion and assure high sharpness across the image at all apertures.
