Das Cine-Weitwinkelobjektiv im robusten Metallgehäuse ist mit einem stufenlosen Blendenring ausgestattet, der einen sehr weichen Lauf hat, also ideal für Filmer geeignet. Eine solide Verarbeitung schützt die Optik zuverlässig, auch wenn es am Set mal etwas rauer zugeht. Die hochwertige Optik aus 12 Elementen in 10 Gruppen garantiert eine hervorragende Verzeichnungskontrolle bei einem Bildwinkel von 100°.

Dank eines geringen Focus Breathings kommt es zu keiner Veränderung des Bildausschnitts, wenn man am Schärfering dreht und die Schärfe innerhalb des Bildes verlagert. Zusammen mit der sehr weichen und präzisen Fokussierung durch das 270° Fokusgewinde lässt diese Optik das Herz von Filmern höher schlagen. Das Objektiv kann an verschiedene Follow-Fokus-Geräte angepasst werden, das sorgt für präzises Fokussieren während der Aufnahme.

Größe, Länge und Durchmesser von allen Cinema-Objektive der Vision-Serie sind fast gleich, und die Positionen des Fokusrings und des Blendenrings liegen ebenfalls gleich. Das sichert einen einfachen und schnellen Tausch der inzwischen 4 Optiken untereinander, der keine komplizierte Neujustage beim Objektivwechsel erfordert.

Ein Filtergewinde von 82mm erlaubt eine variable Verwendung von Schraubfiltern oder Steckfiltersystemen.

Blenden- und Fokuseinstellung erfolgt manuell.
