M.Zuiko Digital ED 45mm f/1.2 PRO lens
This large-diameter medium telephoto lens features the perfect 90mm focal length (35mm equivalent) for portraits. Commitment to a lens design that delivers smoothly blending, beautiful defocusing effects and excellent resolution result in outstanding imaging performance.

High resolution from extravagant use of special lenses
Optimal placement of 3 cemented ED lenses effectively correct  unfocused colour bleeding (axial chromatic aberration) common to large-diameter lenses as well as colour bleeding (magnification chromatic aberration) at the screen periphery. Also, an aspherical lens is placed near the aperture and 4 HR lenses are employed to achieve thorough suppression of comatic aberration.

Fast & high-precision AF
Despite being a large diameter F1.2 lens, a lightweight focusing unit is made possible via the MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) mechanism. A screw drive mechanism is used as the core drive system of the MSC mechanism, and a stepping motor is used as the drive motor.

Excellent mobility
This large-diameter, maximum aperture F1.2 lens remains compact and lightweight. It is approximately 400 g, resulting in an amazingly compact lightweight system at only approximately 974 g when paired with the OM-D E-M1 Mark II.
