Full control over the direction of light

Thanks to its dual-axis rotation design, the GODOX Lux Junior II S allows you to freely manipulate the light and achieve a variety of lighting effects. You can rotate the flash body 180°, allowing for comfortable shooting in both landscape and portrait orientations. Additionally, the head tilts at angles ranging from 0° to 90°, allowing you to direct the flash directly at the subject or bounce it off the ceiling and other surfaces. Bounced light helps create softer, diffused lighting and gentler shadows, which is especially useful when taking portraits or shooting indoors. Advanced Synchronization for Creative Photographers

The GODOX Lux Junior II S offers features that allow you to go beyond standard flash photography. HSS synchronization with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s enables shooting with fast shutter speeds, which is useful, for example, when taking portraits in bright environments. It also supports first- and second-curtain sync, allowing you to achieve different effects when photographing motion, as well as a Multi mode that lets you capture successive phases of motion using a series of flashes. A particular advantage of the S version is its support for global shutter synchronization. When paired with a compatible Sony camera equipped with a global shutter, the flash enables synchronization at speeds of up to 1/80,000 s, opening up additional possibilities when photographing fast-moving subjects.

Compatibility with Film Cameras

Modern features don’t mean you have to give up traditional photography. The flash retains the classic AUTO mode, which also makes it easy to use with film cameras. Thanks to its 2.5 mm sync port, it works with cameras equipped with a PC sync terminal when using the appropriate cable. Simply match the ISO and aperture settings on the camera and the flash, and the automatic flash system will ensure proper lighting for the scene you’re photographing. This solution works great for indoor photography, evening walks, or shooting after dark. The Lux Junior II S functions both as an on-camera flash and as a component of a more extensive lighting setup. The built-in 2.4 GHz radio receiver enables remote flash triggering when paired with a compatible transmitter. This allows you to position the flash away from the camera, experiment with the direction of the light, and create setups using multiple light sources. Compatibility with the MA02 magnetic color filters provides additional possibilities. Installing and replacing them is quick and convenient, allowing you to efficiently change the character of the scene you’re photographing. Warm and cool tones, as well as more vivid color effects, help set the mood of a photo, highlight selected elements of the frame, and give your photos a unique character.

Ready to go for every shoot

The built-in lithium-ion battery eliminates the need for replaceable batteries and allows for convenient charging of the flash. A guide number of approximately 18 provides ample lighting for scenes, and the battery life is sufficient for about 400 full-power flashes. The flash recharge time is just 1.5 seconds, allowing you to efficiently take consecutive photos without long pauses.
