With the Falcon Eyes TR-1 Infrared Flash Trigger, you can trigger studio flashes wirelessly while taking photos. Simply attach this infrared flash trigger to your camera's hot shoe. The transmitter uses an infrared signal to trigger studio flashes with a built-in slave function. This allows you to take photos without a sync cable between your camera and the studio flash, giving you more freedom of movement during studio photography.

Key Features of the Falcon Eyes TR-1
  • Wireless triggering of studio flashes via an infrared signal.
  • Suitable for cameras with a center-contact hot shoe.
  • Works with studio flashes that have a built-in slave function.
  • Powered by an AA battery.
  • Sony and Minolta cameras may require a compatible hot shoe adapter.

The Falcon Eyes TR-1 makes triggering studio flashes easy. Simply slide the infrared transmitter onto your camera's hot shoe, where you would normally attach an external flash. When you take a photo, the TR-1 sends an infrared signal. Studio flashes with a built-in slave function respond to this signal and fire. This eliminates the need for a sync cable between your camera and the studio flash.

The TR-1 uses infrared instead of radio waves. Unlike a radio signal, an infrared signal does not spread in all directions. It's therefore important to consider the placement of your studio flashes and the direction of the signal. This helps you create a suitable setup for your photography.

Check your camera's hot shoe before ordering. The Falcon Eyes TR-1 is suitable for cameras with a center-contact hot shoe. Using a Sony or Minolta camera? You may need a compatible hot shoe adapter. Check your camera's connection beforehand to make sure the flash trigger fits.
