The ultra-compact design makes the GF-2 flash an exceptionally convenient companion – it fits perfectly in your pocket and does not need to be removed from the camera. This means you can always have it at hand without taking up extra space.

When attached to a Ricoh GR IV camera and set to ISO Auto Flash mode, the GF-2 automatically adjusts the camera’s guide number and ISO sensitivity according to the distance to the subject. This intelligent flash mode also enhances the GR IV’s potential for casual photography.
Note: When using the GF-2 with a Ricoh GR series camera other than the GR IV, it will only work in full flash mode due to the different flash contact arrangement. A new firmware is currently under development for the GR III series cameras, enabling automatic exposure adjustment based on focus – scheduled for release in October 2025.

The integrated lithium-ion battery ensures stable flash operation even when the camera’s battery is running low. The flash is rechargeable via USB-C, offering convenience and independence from the camera’s power source.

The GF-2 attaches directly to the camera’s hot shoe and seamlessly integrates with the GR IV’s exposure system, ensuring reliable results. The lightweight and portable design makes it an ideal accessory for travel, portrait photography, and everyday photography, giving you extra freedom when natural light is not enough.
