Using the Ermenrich Ping MK50 digital clamp meter, you can diagnose electrical equipment and measure the characteristics of electrical circuits. Both AC and DC currents are measured without breaking the circuit, and the device also works as a voltmeter, ohmmeter, thermocouple and duty cycle, frequency, and capacitance meter. Wide functionality, high measurement accuracy, and ease of operation make the Ermenrich Ping MK50 digital clamp meter an excellent choice for performing professional electrician tasks and maintaining the functionality of household electrical appliances and electrical wiring.

All of the measurements are carried out using the True RMS method, i.e. true root mean square value, which increases accuracy. When measuring DC current, you can use the DCA Zero function to compensate for residual magnetization. The device is intelligent, i.e., it can detect and measure the incoming signal in fully automatic mode: The Smart function works for continuity, voltage, and resistance measurements.

The continuity function is used for diagnostics; with its help, the electrical circuit is checked for continuity, and open and short circuits are detected. A separate test function is used to determine diode faults. Clamp meters can also work as a hazardous voltage detector: The NCV function is needed to find hidden wiring and electrical outlets. There is a phase detector.

The device is compact, great for working in hard-to-access places, and it has a built-in flashlight. Powered by batteries.
