Pyrometer, Temperature Estimating Instrument (C-50~400, F-58~752) 75-275 NEO<br>is a tool designed for precise temperature measurements (with an accuracy of +/- 1.5% + 1.5°C) of cold and hot surfaces. Its range is from -50°C ~ 400°C. It is often used in the food industry to measure food temperature, monitoring in refrigerated counters, freezers or freezers. It is also indispensable in industry - both automotive and machinery, for monitoring the temperature of machine components, verifying heat in hazardous or hard-to-reach areas, and checking electrical and electronic equipment. This model of pyrometer will also come in handy when inspecting air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration. It will be invaluable in the construction industry - for locating damp walls and ceilings or detecting drafts and heat currents.<br>How does a pyrometer work?<br>A pyrometer consists of optics, a temperature sensor, a signal amplifier, a processing circuit and a display. The optics, which collect the infrared energy emitted by an object, focuses it onto the sensor. The sensor, in turn, converts the energy into an electrical signal. This one displays as a digital readout, providing information about the temperature.<br>The NEO brand pyrometer has a backlit display and allows non-contact measurement. There is a choice of Celsius and Fahrenheit units. It is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries, included in the set. This is a professional device recommended for professionals.
