FNIRSI CTG-20 is an advanced paint thickness meter that combines high sensitivity, precision and convenient operation. With the ability to automatically recognize the substrate (Fe / NFe / Fe+Zn), the device provides reliable results under all conditions. With a compact design weighing just 85 grams, it fits in your pocket and is always ready to go - just one touch to get an accurate measurement in seconds.

Multitasking and accuracy

The CTG-20 offers full support for three types of materials - iron, aluminum and zinc. Equipped with a highly sensitive probe with a resolution of 0.1 µm and a measurement range of up to 1,400 µm, the meter automatically identifies the substrate and uses electromagnetic induction and eddy currents to precisely measure coating thickness. With two measurement modes (single and continuous), you can adapt the way you work to your specific situation, and the results (current, maximum, minimum and average) are clearly displayed on the screen.

Metallic putty detection

The CTG-20 is an innovation in detecting hidden sheet metal repairs. The device can detect not only metal or primer, but also modern iron filing putty, which is designed to fool traditional gauges. With this feature, you gain confidence that the car was not masked with hard-to-detect repair layers.

Convenient operation and quick calibration

The device was designed with ease of use in mind. The quick calibration function allows you to zero the measurement with a single button, simply apply the probe to the supplied standard and press "ZERO." Intuitive operation also allows you to quickly switch measurement units (µm / mil), and automatic screen rotation makes it adapt to your position.

Compact design, long operating time

The CTG-20 meter is distinguished by its lightweight design (only 115 mm long) and ergonomic handle for one-handed operation. The built-in 600 mAh lithium battery charged via USB-C connector provides up to 8 hours of operation on a single charge. An auto shut-off function after 5 minutes of inactivity extends battery life and saves power.
