El dispositivo Ermenrich Reel PRO GM100 es un medidor láser diseñado para realizar mediciones en obras de construcción y reforma. También se puede utilizar para levantamientos de límites de terrenos y trabajos de topografía, y otras aplicaciones que requieran una medición precisa de las dimensiones lineales de un objeto, su área y volumen. La distancia máxima de medición es de 100 metros. El medidor láser también puede actuar como medidor láser de ángulos. Gracias al empleo del teorema de Pitágoras, el dispositivo puede calcular distancias automáticamente a partir de mediciones intermedias. Este procedimiento es especialmente útil cuando no es posible apuntar el rayo láser de forma precisa desde un punto a otro.

El medidor láser Ermenrich Reel PRO GM100 tiene una gran pantalla LCD. El cuerpo de plástico compacto y el fácil acceso a los botones de control facilitan el uso del dispositivo en entornos de trabajo difíciles. El dispositivo funciona con 2 pilas AAA y dispone de una función de apagado automático para apagar el láser o el propio dispositivo a fin de ahorrar energía de las pilas. Por término medio, un solo juego de pilas permite realizar más de 5000 mediciones. Dependiendo del modo de funcionamiento seleccionado, el dispositivo realiza una medición de distancia única o una medición continua de una habitación. Puede desactivar las alertas sonoras, si lo prefiere.
