The Aruba Instant On 1830 switch from HPE is a network device designed for business environments requiring efficient and reliable connectivity. This desktop model features a compact and functional design, measuring 157 x 173 x 39.1 mm and weighing a light 0.77 kg, available in white or black to fit different spaces. It is equipped with 8 autosensing RJ-45 ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps, ensuring gigabit transfer speeds for stable and fast Ethernet LAN connections, allowing easy integration with standard RJ45 cables. Additionally, port 1 supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) class 3, up to 13W, enabling power supply to compatible devices without extra cables. The MAC address table can store up to 8,000 entries, facilitating management of multiple devices and reducing collisions in medium-sized networks. For management, it offers flexibility with support for Aruba Instant On cloud, web interface, and SNMP protocol, allowing remote and local control tailored to user needs. It is powered by an included external supply, operating at AC voltages between 100-127 V and 200-240 V at standard frequencies of 50/60 Hz, with efficient energy consumption ranging from 5.8 W idle to around 8 W at maximum operation. Its versatile design allows installation on a desk, wall, or under a table using the included brackets, enhancing adaptability in various settings.
