Virtualisation and certified storage

The DS923+ can serve as a virtual machine storage, a virtual machine backup server and a lightweight container and virtual machine host. It is fully certified as storage for VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer and OpenStack environments.
