The Zyxel NWA220AX-6E offers 6 spatial streams (4x4 selectable at 6 GHz/5 GHz, 2x2 at 2.4 GHz) and a maximum data rate of 5.4 Gbps. It is a dual-radio access point with a BandFlex radio that supports either 5 GHz or 6 GHz, depending on the configuration. This makes it the most cost-effective choice to extend your existing 5 GHz coverage and future-proof the use of 6 GHz.

The NWA220AX-6E offers all the benefits of WiFi 6 features such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS colouring and brings them to the interference-free 6 GHz network, which more than doubles WiFi capacity and enables multi-gigabit speeds and low latency connections.

The highlights at a glance:

  • 802.11axe AP (4x4 in 6 GHz/5 GHz selectable, 2x2 in 2.4 GHz) for a maximum data rate of 5.4 Gbps.
  • The BandFlex radio concept can support either 5 GHz or 6 GHz depending on the configuration, so it fits into your 5 GHz coverage as well as future-proofs the use of 6 GHz.
  • Zyxel 6E Boost uses the high-gain 4 streams at 6 GHz to increase coverage and maximise the performance of the new band.
  • NebulaFlex allows users to switch between standalone mode and the intuitive Nebula cloud-controlled mode as needed.

The 6 GHz band offers a solution to the need for more bandwidth and is ideal for high-density WiFi connections. To fully utilise the band's potential, the Zyxel 6E Boost increases the maximum gain from transmit beamforming and receive MIMO by using the high-gain 4x4 streams in the 6 GHz band to increase range and ensure the highest performance.

The NWA220AX-6E is suitable for environments with high network density, such as exhibition halls, schools, offices, hotels or restaurants, as it offers an optimal service for everyone with every WiFi connection.
