The TP-Link TL-SG1005P desktop switch is a network device designed to improve connectivity in home and office environments, offering reliable and efficient performance. This 5-port Gigabit switch features 4 PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports that allow simultaneous data and power transmission to devices compatible with the IEEE 802.3af standard, enabling installation without additional power cables. All ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds and have auto-negotiation with AUTO MDI/MDIX to adapt to different network connections. With a 10Gbps backplane bandwidth, this switch ensures smooth, uninterrupted data transfer. Its compact, sturdy metal design with black and gray finish fits easily in any workspace, measuring only 99.8 x 98 x 25 mm. Intelligent traffic management is possible thanks to advanced features like 802.1p / DSCP QoS, prioritizing latency-sensitive packets, and support for IGMP snooping, improving multicast network efficiency. It also includes automatic MAC address learning and aging to optimize performance and reduce collisions. Its external power supply delivers 48 VDC at 1.25A, with a total PoE capacity of 56W, providing up to 15.4W per port, ideal for powering IP cameras, VoIP phones, or wireless access points.
