See ruuter toetab uusimat Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standardit, mis võimaldab veelgi suuremaid andmeedastuskiirusi, väiksemat latentsust ja paremat võrgu efektiivsust võrreldes varasemate põlvkondadega. Tänu Wi-Fi 7 tehnoloogiale on see ruuter ideaalne valik nõudlikele kasutajatele, kes soovivad voogedastada 4K/8K videoid, mängida võrgumänge või kasutada mitmeid seadmeid samaaegselt ilma ühenduse kvaliteedis järeleandmisi tegemata.

ASUS RT-BE88U on varustatud võimsa neljatuumalise protsessoriga, mis tagab sujuva andmetöötluse ja kiire reageerimisvõime. Ruuteri mitmekülgsed ühendusvõimalused hõlmavad mitut 10G ja 2.5G Etherneti porti, mis võimaldavad ülikiiret juhtmega ühendust nii arvutite, mängukonsoolide kui ka NAS-seadmetega.
