See võimas ruuter toetab mitut WAN-porti, võimaldades mitme internetiühenduse samaaegset kasutamist, mis tagab maksimaalse töökindluse ja koormuse tasakaalustamise. Tänu täiustatud VPN-toele sobib seade suurepäraselt kaugkontorite ühendamiseks ja turvaliseks andmevahetuseks üle interneti.

TL-ER605 V2 on varustatud mitmete turvafunktsioonidega, sealhulgas tulemüür, DoS-kaitse, IP/MAC/URL-filtreerimine ning mitmed autentimisvõimalused. Seadme haldamine on lihtne tänu intuitiivsele veebiliidesele ning see ühildub ka TP-Link Omada SDN pilvepõhise haldusplatvormiga, võimaldades tsentraalset juhtimist ja monitoorimist. See muudab ruuteri ideaalseks valikuks ettevõtetele, kes soovivad oma võrku lihtsalt ja turvaliselt hallata nii kohapeal kui ka eemalt.

Seadmel on kolm WAN/LAN-porti, mida saab konfigureerida vastavalt vajadusele, ning üks spetsiaalne WAN-port. See võimaldab paindlikku võrguarhitektuuri ja mitmekülgseid ühendusvõimalusi. VPN-toe osas pakub TL-ER605 V2 tuge mitmetele protokollidele, sealhulgas IPsec, PPTP ja L2TP, võimaldades luua kuni 20 samaaegset VPN-tunnelit. Lisaks toetab ruuter ka OpenVPN ja SSL VPN protokolle, mis tagavad veelgi suurema turvalisuse ja ühilduvuse erinevate seadmetega.
