The Easy Smart TL-SG105E is designed for small and medium businesses that need basic LAN management. With port mirroring, loop prevention, and cable diagnostics, administrators can easily monitor network traffic. Support for port-based QoS and 802.1P tagging enables you to maintain the highest throughput for the most important connections in your corporate network. In addition, port-based support, tagging, and MTU for VLANs improve security and isolate network resources. In addition, the TL-SG105E is environmentally friendly because it uses an innovative technology that saves up to 75% of energy consumption.

Simple and effective management
The TP-LINK Easy Smart TL-SG105E switch comes with easy-to-use Layer 2 management features, available from Easy Smart Configuration Utility (for Windows). With Port Mirroring, loop prevention, and port status diagnostics, the TL-SG105E enables you to identify and locate any problems on your corporate network. In addition, administrators can leverage port-based QoS or 802.1p tagging to deliver seamless voice, video or voice transmission. In addition, to improve network performance and security, the switch supports port-based VLANs, Tag Assignments, and MTUs (for easy uplink port configuration). Thanks to the manageability of the TL-SG105E, it provides greater functionality than unmanaged switches while being economical and easy to use for your network.

Energy-efficient Ethernet - environmentally friendly
By creating a gigabit ethernet network you can now choose an environmentally-friendly solution! The TL-SG105E uses technology that enables high-bandwidth networks with high energy savings. The device automatically adjusts the required power consumption depending on the connection status and cable length, reducing power consumption.

Power off unused ports
Traditional network switches consume significant amounts of power on ports, even if the attached devices are switched off. The TL-SG105E automatically detects the connection status of each port, reducing the power consumption of inactive ports.

Power consumption depends on cable length
Theoretically, the use of shorter cables should reduce energy consumption, due to the smaller energy loss on their length. However, most devices consume as much energy, regardless of the length of the cables. The TL-SG105E analyzes the length of cables attached to it, and accordingly regulates the amount of power consumed by the ports.

Ease of use
The TL-SG105E is easy to use and install. With Auto MDI / MDIX, no crossover cables are required. The automatic negotiation function detects the speed of the connected device (10, 100 or 1000Mb / s) on each port for the best transmission performance. Small size makes it a little space for desk use. The LEDs display information about the current state of each port, allowing for easy diagnostics of connections.
