Apex 9 Mini on varustatud SteelSeriesi uuenduslike OptiPoint optiliste lülititega, mis tagavad ülikiire reageerimisaja – vaid 0,2 ms. Optilised lülitid pakuvad erakordset vastupidavust ja võimaldavad kasutajal valida kahe aktiveerimispunkti vahel (1 mm või 1,5 mm), et kohandada klaviatuuri täpselt oma mängustiili järgi. Klaviatuuri raam on valmistatud vastupidavast alumiiniumisulamist, mis tagab pika eluea ja stabiilsuse ka kõige intensiivsemate mängusessioonide ajal.
