Armac Office On-line RACK PF1
R/2000I/PF1/DF 8x IEC UPS emergency power supply
We create good energy for offices and professional applications – the new Armac Office On-line PF1 Dust-free UPS line combines top specifications with an attractive price. Thanks to its online topology, 0 ms switchover time, and perfect full sine wave output, the device protects sensitive equipment from any power surges. A power factor of 1.0 (Power Factor = 1) means you get all the power you put in – without unnecessary losses.
The PF1 series has been receiving excellent feedback from business users for years; the Dust-free version raises the bar even higher. The fans now respond to load changes of 1%, so the UPS runs quieter, consumes less energy and lasts longer. An improved EMC section on the new motherboard and more durable batteries ensure stability for years to come.
The Dust-free series also features an easily replaceable dust filter. The front panel can be quickly removed to access the filter, which can be taken out, wiped with a damp cloth or cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, left to dry, and then slid back into place. The entire operation takes just a few minutes, so you can do it during your coffee break. Regular cleaning of the filter effectively traps dust, toner, paper, and other particles that would otherwise settle on the heat sinks and shorten the life of the components. In addition, a dense perforated mesh on the front panel directs the airflow exactly where it is needed, and intelligent PWM fans smoothly adjust their speed to the load and temperature. The result is stable, cool UPS operation with minimal noise and no need for frequent service interventions.
Series of UPS emergency power supplies with PF = 1
In the world of small and medium-sized businesses, you pay twice for every watt: once to the energy supplier and once again for the heat generated by poorly designed equipment. That's why a power factor of 1.0 is so groundbreaking: virtually 100% of the electricity drawn from the 230 V mains is returned to your devices in the form of usable energy. In real terms, this means a full 1000 W of active power at 1000 VA – without any “tax” in the form of reactive power. Compared to classic PF 0.8 designs, you gain up to 20% more reserve, allowing you to choose a smaller, cheaper model or connect additional workstations without the risk of overload. Such high efficiency also reduces server room air conditioning costs and helps meet corporate ESG goals and the requirements of new EU energy efficiency directives.
Importantly, Armac maintains PF = 1 over a wide load range – not just “on paper.” This is thanks to an optimized power path and dual online conversion, which means that the uninterruptible power supply does not have to “reach” full power to work efficiently. The result? Stable voltage, lower bills, and a smaller carbon footprint without compromising safety.
Immediate response Any power interruption – even one lasting only a few milliseconds – can halt production lines, damage CAD files or interrupt POS (Point of Sale) transactions. In the R/2000I/PF1/DF model, this problem is overcome by double conversion. The power from the outlet is first converted to direct current and then back to perfect alternating current, so that voltage fluctuations, spikes, and electromagnetic interference remain at the input. When the mains power fails, the UPS simply stops charging the rectifier and continues to supply power from the battery in <1 ms, without interrupting the operation of the server, NAS array or router.
In practice, this means zero lost packets, no need to restart virtual machines, and the certainty that e-commerce transactions or financial operations will be saved to the end. An additional ECO mode switches the power supply to a bypass with 99% efficiency when the mains parameters are stable. So you have the flexibility to decide whether you prefer absolute 24/7 security or energy savings on quiet weekends. |
Increased battery life Batteries are the heart of every uninterruptible power supply – and the most expensive service item. That is why Armac has equipped the PF1 Dust-free with intelligent energy management.
- Reduced Cut-Off – the microprocessor disconnects the battery at a higher voltage than standard, which reduces deep discharges and extends the life cycle by up to 30%.
- Adjustable threshold – need longer backup for your cash register? Adjust the cut-off from the LCD or via USB/RS-232 to tailor protection to the task at hand.
- Automatic self-test every 60 days – the UPS simulates a power failure, checks the battery capacity and records the result in the PowerManager II log. The user receives an alert only when the parameters fall below the set threshold, allowing you to plan replacement in advance and avoid “failure on Friday at 6 p.m.”.
- Temperature-compensated charging – the charger adjusts the current to the ambient conditions, preventing overcharging in hot summer and undercharging in cool server rooms.
This ensures that 9 Ah batteries retain their capacity for years, while you reduce operating costs and waste emissions. |
Performance for professional applications If your workstation renders in Blender or trains AI models on a GPU, you need stable watts, not marketing VA. PF 1.0 and larger 9 Ah batteries deliver a real 1000 W of continuous power even at 40 °C ambient temperature. Eight IEC 320 C13 sockets (C13 → IEC CEE 7/7 or C13 → C19 cables are easy to purchase separately) allow you to protect your server, storage, switch, and monitor simultaneously. The whole unit is enclosed in a rigid metal RACK case with mounting rails and ears for convenient installation in a cabinet. |
Easy monitoring and management Cleaning and remote management are equally simple: USB and RS-232 connectors work in plug-and-play mode on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and the available Smart-Slot allows you to plug in an SNMP or Modbus card and enable monitoring in Zabbix or PRTG. PowerManager II software with a user-friendly interface allows you to schedule tests, save logs, and send email alerts. The result is complete control over your power supply without having to run to the server room. |
Complete security
A specially built-in processor monitors the correct operation of the emergency power supply, controlling the parameters of the device itself, its correct operation, and the power supply to connected equipment. The technology used in the UPS also ensures automatic battery charging in Stand-By mode and automatic restart after mains power is restored.
Importantly, each Armac emergency power supply system is equipped with an overload protection module. If the UPS is overloaded during normal operation, the device will automatically and safely shut down the power supply to the connected equipment. This solution enhances the safety and comfort of use of Armac emergency power supplies.
Ideal for sensitive equipment
Due to the nature of its operation (full sine wave during battery mode), the power supply can be used with devices equipped with an electric motor or heater, e.g. laser printers, scanners, garage and entrance gates, electric roller blinds, central heating furnaces. You also do not need to invest in expensive residual current devices. This model can easily work with a circuit breaker up to 30 mA.
