PowerWalker EMD for SNMP Card 2 - Environmental Monitoring Device

Monitor critical environmental conditions directly in your network and keep important values under control at all times. The module extends existing UPS systems with precise monitoring of temperature and humidity. This helps you react early to changes and reduce risks for servers, equipment and infrastructure. The compact design makes integration into existing systems easy and saves space in the rack.

Targeted monitoring for stable IT operations
The device measures temperature in a range from 0 to 70 °C with an accuracy of ±1 °C and relative humidity from 10 to 90% with ±2% accuracy. This data is recorded in real time and can be analysed via the SNMP environment. You can set thresholds and receive automatic alerts. In addition, dry contacts are available to communicate with external systems.

Integration into existing network environments
Connection is made via RJ-45 and dry contacts, allowing the device to be connected to compatible SNMP cards. Together with a network management solution, you get access to current status values and notifications if limits are exceeded. Automatic event messages ensure monitoring stays active even without constant checking. The fanless design works silently and is ideal for sensitive IT environments.
