The Makita cordless planer KP001GZ with a brushless, maintenance-free and long-lasting motor achieves a high planing shaft speed, for optimal results and a flawless finish while maintaining low noise. The light and very handy machine has three different V-grooves for easy chamfering. The planer is suitable, for example, for working on interior doors, panels and skirting boards. The cutting depth can be precisely adjusted using the smooth-running rotary wheel with depth scale. The KP001GZ is equipped with a motor brake, soft start and a safety switch. The AWS Auto-Start Wireless System of the KP001GZ (AWS wireless adapter WUT01 required) ensures that a suitable vacuum cleaner (sold separately) starts at the same time as the machine is started thanks to the Bluetooth connection and switches off again after a follow-up time when the machine comes to a standstill. Further information The batteries in the XGT system deliver a voltage of 40 volts maximum with a compact design and low weight. They are specifically designed to deliver higher discharge currents, for tough use (protection class IP56) and continuous maximum power. The XGT series sets new standards with digital communication between the machine, battery and charger. The built-in processors communicate with each other throughout use and thus ensure an optimal level of performance and a noticeably longer battery life.
