Materjal ja omadused

PLA+ on modifitseeritud polüpiimhappe (PLA) tüüp, mille eesmärgiks on parandada materjali sitkust ja löögikindlust võrreldes tavalise PLA-ga. See filament säilitab PLA tundlikud detailid ja hea pinnaviimistluse, kuid tal on tavalisest PLA-st väiksem pragunemissoov ja parem kihiline side. Filament on mõeldud FDM/FFF tehnoloogiale.


Trükkimise käitumine

PLA+ trüübilt on stabiilne ja etteaimatav: vähene warping ning head kihiülesed omadused lihtsustavad väikeste ja keskmiste detailide printimist. Soovituslikud parameetrid sõltuvad printerist ja otsikust; üldine algusvahemik trükkimistemperatuuriks on umbes 200–220 °C ning alusplaadi (heated bed) temperatuuriks 0–60 °C (PLA trüüb ka sageli ilma kuumutatud alata).


Viimistlus ja järelhooldus

Valge pind on hea alus värvimiseks, liimimiseks ja liimketastega töötlemiseks. PLA+ pind võtab hästi aluspinna ja kergesti lihvitav, mis võimaldab saavutada puhtaid servasid ja detailset viimistlust. Kui soovid väga läikivat või vastupidavamat pinda, saab kasutada pärast töötlemist vastavaid lakke või primereid.


Ladustamine ja käsitsemine

Parima tulemuse saamiseks hoia filament kuivas ja toatemperatuuril, eemal niiskusest. Kui filament on kaua avatud olnud või on tekkinud niiskusprobleeme (nähtavad poorid, lõhenemine printimisel), võib selle enne printimist õrnalt kuivatada vastavas filamentikuivatris või madalal temperatuuril ahjus spetsiaalse juhendi järgi.


Milliste projektide jaoks sobib

PLA+ sobib hästi prototüüpimiseks, visuaalsete mudelite, dekoratiivsete objektide, tarvikute ja kergete funktsionaalsete osade tootmiseks. Kui vajad detailset pinnastruktuuri koos parema mehaanilise vastupidavusega kui tavaline PLA, on PLA+ hea kompromiss lihtsuse ja tugevuse vahel.
