Materjal ja omadused

PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified) ühendab paljude kasutajate jaoks PLA lihtsuse ja ABS-i vastupidavuse elemente. See filament pakub head löögikindlust, mõõdukat painduvust ja tugevamat kihilist adhesiooni võrreldes paljude teiste materjalidega. Printimise ja töökindluse aspektid

1,75 mm jämedus on laialdaselt standardiseeritud ning tagab stabiilse söötmise nii Bowden- kui ka direct-drive süsteemides. PETG-l on tavaliselt madalam viltumine kui ABS-il, seega on sobiv valik suuremate ja mõõtude poolest nõrgemate osade puhul. Niiskuse suhtes on PETG vähem tundlik kui näiteks nailon, kuid soovitatav on hoidmine kuivas keskkonnas parima tulemuse saavutamiseks.
