The Ei650 is an Optical Smoke Alarm using the light scatter principle, giving a quick response to all standard domestic fire types.<br><br>There is no requirement to replace cells as the Lithium cells will power the alarm for more than 10 years. The non replaceable cell and tamperproof design limits the possibility of the alarm being disabled.<br><br>The Ei650 is designed for simple installation, commissioning and maintenance. It is supplied with all necessary screw fixings.<br><br>The Ei650 has a large, easy to use, combined Test/Silence button enables full testing of the alarm and the ability to silence false/nuisance alarms.<br><br>The Ei650 has an innovative high performance optical chamber with integral fixed insect screen reducing the possibility of false alarms.<br><br>- The smoke detector will activate the built in sounder upon sensing smoke particles. It will automatically reset and silence the alarm when the smoke particles are no longer present in the chamber.<br>- The red indicating LED will flash once every 40 seconds to verify that the alarm is powered and performing the self checks.<br>- The alarm is not powered until it is connected to the twist on base, thus preventing battery power consumption during storage and prior to installation.<br>- The built in sounder will provide a minimum sound output of 85dB at 3m when a fire is detected.<br>- Pressing and holding the Test/Silence button will perform a complete test of the Alarm as well and sound the horn.<br>- If the Ei650 has been activated due to a false/nuisance alarm, pressing the Test/Silence button will silence the alarm for a 10 minute period.<br><br>- 10 Year Lithium cell – powered for life<br>- EN 14604:2005 3 party tested and certified<br>- Large Easy to use Test and Silence button<br>- Automatic checking of battery status<br>- Automatic checking of smoke chamber status<br>- Built-in sounder – 85dB(A) at 3 meters)<br>- Alarm LED indicator<br>- Easy to install twist-on base design<br>- Innovative and robust optical chamber design<br>- Manufactured in Ireland to ISO 9001:2000<br>- 5 year GuaranteeEi Electronics Ei650.
