Switchbot Plug Mini (EU) socket

The SwitchBot Plug Mini supports Matter over Wi-Fi, allowing it to be easily integrated into the Apple Home or Home Assistant ecosystem without the need for external bridges or gateways. This means simpler pairing, greater compatibility and easier management of smart home devices. Plus, thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the Nest also works when Wi-Fi is temporarily unavailable - you retain control regardless of network status.

Full compatibility with Matter

SwitchBot Plug Mini is designed to integrate with as many platforms as possible. Matter support makes it work with the most popular smart home systems, such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant. This means you can control it from the apps you're already familiar with, without the need for additional configuration. At the same time, Matter guarantees faster device responses and more stable operation, resulting in a better experience for daily use.

Power consumption monitoring

Plug Mini offers the ability to monitor the energy consumption of connected devices on an ongoing basis. In the SwitchBot app, you can check how much electricity you use per day, per month or per year, as well as receive notifications about potential overloads. This is a practical solution, especially if you want to keep an eye on appliances with high power consumption - such as a refrigerator, heater or coffee maker. The energy monitoring feature is only available through the SwitchBot app, which is worth keeping in mind when you use Matter.

Does not block other outlets

The SwitchBot Plug Mini is designed to take up as little space as possible. Its compact design means that when plugged in, it doesn't obstruct neighboring outlets - even in power strips where the ports are close together. This allows you to use several devices at the same time without fiddling with the layout of cables or extension cords.

Matter bridge and support for Bluetooth devices

The socket also acts as a mini Matter bridge, allowing you to integrate selected Bluetooth devices into the Matter environment. It supports up to two devices, such as SwitchBot Lock Ultra, Curtain 3 or Bot, so you can connect older Bluetooth equipment to the new system without having to replace all the automation. This is a good solution if you are slowly expanding your smart home and don't want to invest in new devices right away.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control

Whether you're at home or away, you can control your outlet via the SwitchBot app. When a Wi-Fi connection is available, everything works remotely from anywhere. When the internet fails, the Plug Mini automatically switches to Bluetooth, so you can still manage it locally - from your phone or tablet, for example.

Voice control and automation

The Nest works with voice assistants - you can turn connected appliances on and off with Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant or using Home Assistant. What's more, in the SwitchBot app, you can set schedules, delay shutdowns or automatic activation based on conditions - such as at certain times or when motion is detected. This saves energy and reduces the risk of leaving equipment on unattended.
