The Shelly BLU Door/Window ZB is a smart door and window sensor that supports both Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth 5 LE, offering extensive integration capabilities with smart home systems. The device detects when doors or windows are opened or closed and measures the tilt angle, allowing it to recognize the tilt position of tilt-and-turn windows and doors. The built-in light sensor enables automation based on light levels, and support for the BTHome standard further enhances compatibility with home automation systems.

More automation possibilities

The sensor allows you to create advanced action scenarios, such as turning off the heating when a window is tilted open, activating ventilation at a specific opening angle, or automatically turning on the lights after dark. The light sensor monitors indoor conditions and can work with other smart home devices, enhancing user comfort and helping to save energy. Fast and stable communication makes the device suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Two operating modes and secure communication

The Shelly BLU Door/Window ZB offers two operating modes tailored to different needs. In Regular mode, it transmits information about changes in door or window status, light levels, battery status, and tilt angle upon detecting changes, while Beacon mode allows for regular data transmission every 30 seconds. An additional advantage is encrypted communication, which enhances the security of transmitted information. Thanks to its compact design, the device is ideal for single-family homes, apartments, offices, commercial spaces, public buildings, and educational institutions, providing greater control over building security and automation.
