Microsoft Autopilot Registration + computer Dead on Arrival (DOA) testing

Microsoft Autopilot is a deployment solution that simplifies the rollout of new PCs in organizations. By registering the device in the customer’s Windows Autopilot environment before delivery, the device can be automatically enrolled into the customer’s Microsoft environment when the end user signs in for the first time. This reduces manual setup work, improves consistency, and helps accelerate device deployment across the organization.

What is included
  • Autopilot preparation – collection of the hardware information required for Autopilot registration
  • Autopilot registration – registration of the device in the Windows Autopilot deployment service
  • Optional Group Tag assignment – customer-specific Group Tag identifiers can be added during registration
  • Computer DOA (Dead on Arrival) testing - Basic DOA testing to confirm device functionality and identify any immediate hardware defects before deployment.
Service activation
Before the first order can be processed, the service must be activated. Activation begins with the Autopilot Service onboarding form, which is used to collect the required customer details, including the customer’s domain, Tenant ID, and the email address of a user with Global Admin rights. F9 will send a permission request to the designated Global Admin, and once the request has been approved, the service is ready to use for future orders.

Requirements
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Microsoft Intune or another supported device management solution that supports Windows Autopilot
  • A supported version of Windows installed on the device
Important
Please provide the end customer’s domain, Tenant ID, and any Group Tag identifier in the additional text field on the order line.

Scope limitation
This service covers registration only. The device is not powered on, and no operating system installation or device preparation is performed.

Recommended options
  • Microsoft Autopilot Registration + Windows 11 Clean Image – recommended when a fully updated and ready-to-use Windows environment is required
  • Microsoft Autopilot Pre-provisioning + Ready-to-use Clean Image – recommended when applications, settings, and policies should also be prepared before delivery
Lead time
The target lead time for preinstallation-related services is 2–4 business days, depending on order size and service scope.

Matkahuolto is easy way to order goods to Finland. These are located also in smaller Finnish towns. As the shipment arrives to the selected Matkahuolto outlet, you will be sent an SMS-notification or an e-mail. Go to the outlet, show your ID and take your package.

Omniva courier delivery

The courier will transport your goods from Photopoint straight to the provided address. The delivery will take place at workdays from 08:00 to 17:00. Hold your phone near you as the courier will call you prior to its arrival. Please make sure there is someone at the destination, eligible to receive the shipment. 

The product can only be ordered from our online store and it takes from 3-5 working days for delivery within Estonia.
