Yongnuo YN508 on innovatiivne LED-rõngasvalgusti, mis koosneb kahest eraldi paneelist. Ühendatuna moodustavad nad 40 cm läbimõõduga rõnga, samas kui eraldiseisvalt saab neid kasutada kahe eraldi valgusallikana. Igal paneelil on 240 kõrgjõudlusega LED-i, mis kiirgavad valgust 5500 K värvustemperatuuriga. Valguse loomulikke omadusi näitab kõrge CRI (95+). Lambi esiküljel asuv hajutuspaneel kaitseb LED-e kahjustuste eest, hajutades samal ajal valgust ja andes sellele meeldiva pehmuse. Ühendatud paneelide abil on võimalik keskosas kinnitada nutitelefon, mis hõlbustab fotograafiat ja filmimist. Välklambi juhtimine on võimalik juhtpaneelide abil ja juhtmevabalt mobiilirakenduse abil nutitelefonis. Rakendus võimaldab mitme lambi tööparameetrite rühmitamist ja juhtimist samaaegselt. YN508 paneelid saab toita 12 V / 2 A vahelduvvooluadapterite või NP-F seeria liitiumioonakudega (üks toide/aku paneeli kohta). Kaks toitevalikut ja võimalus paneelid vastavalt soovile konfigureerida muudavad välklambi mitmekülgseks üksuseks, mis töötab hästi nii stuudios kui ka välitingimustes. Igal paneelil on kolm standardset 1/4" kinnitust fotojalale paigaldamiseks või nende kombineerimiseks. Kaasasolev adapter võimaldab lambi kinnitamist valgustusjalale 16 mm läbimõõduga varrega ning lambi nurka saab reguleerida.
