The Westcott Rapid Box Switch 3x3 is a collapsible square softbox measuring 91 × 91 cm, built on an aluminum umbrella inspired framework with neutral diffusion fabric and a taut silver interior — designed for the fastest setup time in the industry.

Square Light Modification
Square softboxes produce a distinctive light pattern well suited for product photography, food photography, and still lifes. They also create the classic North Light quality sought after by portrait photographers. The 3x3 format delivers a large diffuse light surface for soft, even illumination.


Fast Setup
The aluminum umbrella inspired framework eliminates the need for separate support rods. The softbox collapses completely into a compact carry case for easy transport and storage. After a shoot, the Rapid Box Switch breaks down in seconds.


Switch System
The light source mounts outside the softbox via a Switch Insert, keeping all controls directly accessible and allowing line of sight or wireless functionality to work unobstructed. The quick release thumb lock secures any Switch Insert firmly in place. 15 interchangeable Switch Inserts are available for the most popular strobes, speedlights, and monolights.

The framework is built from solid aluminum and all fabrics are heat resistant for dependable long term use. The neutral diffusion fabric maintains consistent color temperature across shots, while the taut silver interior maximizes light output from the source.,
