Flexible lighting solution for the studio
The Walimex pro Essential Striplight 40×180 is an elongated softbox that allows you to create soft, even and controlled light for various photo and video solutions. Thanks to its narrow shape, it is particularly suitable for creating side light in portrait photography, emphasizing contours and highlighting the edges of objects.

The Striplight-type light modifier helps direct light more precisely than a classic softbox, offering more control over light falloff and shadows. This makes it a good tool for studio portraits, fashion and beauty photos, as well as product photography.

Even and soft light
The front diffuser and inner intermediate diffuser included in the kit help soften the light and reduce strong shadows. The result is a natural and evenly diffused light, which is good for capturing details and textures.

The included cell attaches to the softbox with Velcro and allows you to direct the light even more precisely. This helps prevent light from scattering into unwanted areas and gives you more creative control when building a lighting scheme.

Durable construction and quick installation
The Essential series softboxes are designed with convenient use in mind - their assembly is simple and quick. Metal support rods and heat-resistant materials ensure reliability and long service life even with regular studio use. The softbox can be rotated 360° using the speedring, which allows you to quickly change the direction of the light without having to rearrange the entire setup.

Suitable for Bowens and Walimex pro mount lights
The adapter included is compatible with Bowens and Walimex pro mount studio flashes and LED lights. A separate adapter is required for using other bayonets.
