The Elinchrom Rotalux Rectabox 90 ? 110 cm is a softbox for photography and video production. Its rectangular shape gives you control over the direction of light, making it well suited to portraits, still life and product photography.
Rectangular shape (90 ? 110 cm): Produces soft, even light with a natural falloff.
Quick setup and pack-down: The Rotalux system opens and closes with an umbrella-style mechanism.
Inner and outer diffusers: Use them together or separately to adjust the character of the light.
Durable construction: Built for use in the studio and on location.
Speedrings for different flash systems: Choose a Rotalux speedring that fits your light. The speedring is sold separately.
Suitable for larger subjects and full-length portraits: The large surface area helps soften shadows.
For studio and location work: Supplied with a bag for transport and storage.

Elinchrom Rotalux
The Rotalux system combines a carefully considered design with a straightforward workflow. The softbox is quick to set up, easy to pack away and gives you several ways to shape the light.
Even illumination
The shape of the Rotalux softbox is designed to work with the light from Elinchrom studio flashes. Its reflective interior and two diffusers help distribute light evenly across the large front surface.

Choose a speedring for your light
Rotalux is mounted using a speedring selected to fit your light’s mount. The speedring makes the softbox easy to open and lets you rotate its rectangular front surface to the angle you need. The speedring is not included and is sold separately. Check compatibility with your flash system before choosing one.

Adjust the character of the light
Both inner and outer diffusers are included. Use them together for softer, more even light, or remove one or both for a more direct result.
Deflector set
With compatible Elinchrom flashes, you can use a deflector to alter the light coming from the centre of the softbox. Try it with the diffusers fitted, or remove them for a higher-contrast result. The deflector set is sold separately.

Rotagrid
To limit light spill, add a Rotagrid. It helps direct light towards your subject and keep the background darker while retaining the soft quality of the softbox. The grid is sold separately.
