Battleship Missouri (BB-63)

USS Missouri (BB-63) is an American battleship of the Iowa type also known as the "Mighty Mo" or "Big Mo". It is the last battleship ever built by the United States. On its deck, the Act of Surrender of the Empire of Japan was signed on 2 September 1945, officially ending the Second World War. Among other things, the ship took part in the Battle of Iwo Jima and Okinawa and the Korean War. The USS Missouri was only withdrawn from service in 1992 and has since been open to the public as a museum ship.

The COBI building block model in 1:300 scale is a real challenge for all builders. It consists of 2655 pieces and requires several hours of intensive and exciting assembly. It is exactly 92 cm (36.2") long and 20.5 cm (8") high. It has movable parts such as gun turrets and gun barrels, propellers and rudder.
