Panzerhaubitze 2000

The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is one of the most advanced artillery systems in the world. Thanks to its cutting-edge technology, range, and precision, the PzH 2000 plays a key role in modern combat operations, providing effective fire support. It is a symbol of modern artillery and a testament to the advanced engineering of the German defense industry. We proudly present this legendary self-propelled howitzer, developed in cooperation with the Deutsches Panzermuseum in Munster.

Built from over a thousand pieces, this model captures all the essential features of the original. It includes a working tracked chassis, a rotating turret, and a movable barrel of the powerful 155 mm howitzerjust a few of its many highlights. The set also features detailed camouflage and all structural markings faithfully recreated using printed elements, including registration numbers and ventilation grilles. The brick-built PzH 2000 comes with opening hatches and a movable support frame for stabilizing the massive gun barrel. Mounted on the turret is the onboard MG3 machine gun. The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is a must-have for any Armed Forces collector or enthusiast of modern armored and military technology.

Development of the PzH 2000 began in the 1980s as part of the Bundeswehrs artillery modernization program. The aim was to create a modern self-propelled howitzer to replace older models like the M109. Prototypes were tested in the early 1990s, and promising results led to the decision to begin serial production. The PzH 2000 entered service with the Bundeswehr in 1998 and has since been adopted by several other countries including the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Lithuania, and Croatia.

The PzH 2000 is known for its high rate of fire, long range, and advanced fire control system, making it a highly effective battlefield support tool. Its ability to fire rapid salvos and use precision targeting systems allows it to strike targets swiftly and accurately. The PzH 2000 has been deployed in various international missions, including NATO operations in Afghanistan, where its advanced artillery capabilities proved invaluable in demanding combat conditions. These vehicles are currently also in active use in the conflict in Ukraine.
