PANZERKAMPFWAGEN E-100 został opracowany w dużej skali 1:28 przy wykorzystaniu 1511 elementów i mierzy aż 37 cm długości. Duży rozmiar modelu umożliwił zaprojektowanie wnętrza wieży oraz pojazdu. Model oferuje dostęp do klapy serwisowej, pod którą znajduje się wyjmowany silnik. Dodatkowe funkcjonalności to: obracająca się wieża, ruchome działo, dostęp do włazów dla załogi, działająca trakcja gąsienicowa. Potężny Panzerkampfwagen E-100 to nieco tajemniczy niemiecki prototypowy czołg superciężki opracowany w końcowej fazie II wojny światowej. Pojazd zaprojektowano w ramach programu Entwicklungsserie, mającego na celu opracowanie serii pojazdów pancernych różnych typów, możliwie uproszczonych i opartych na wypracowanych standardach.

Rozpoczęte w 1943 roku prace przerwano już w roku 1944. Przedsiębiorstwo Henschel w ograniczonym stopniu próbowało kontynuować prace w swoim zakresie. Udało się wyprodukować kadłub, na którym według planów z 1943 roku miała być osadzona zmodyfikowana wieża czołgu Maus. Rozważano również kolejne modyfikacje w celu umożliwienia montażu armat jeszcze większego kalibru. Przejęty przez Aliantów kadłub został w 1945 roku wysłany do Wielkiej Brytanii na badania, a następnie zezłomowany. Po czołgu E-100 pozostała skromna dokumentacja fotograficzna i rysunkowa. Z uwagi na nieprzeciętne parametry, pojazd cieszy się dużą popularnością i występuje często nie tylko w literaturze, ale również w grach i materiałach wideo, budząc zawsze emocje!
