The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus was one of the most ambitious military projects of Nazi Germany during World War II. Designed as a super-heavy prototype tank weighing around 188 tons, it represented the technological extreme of its time.

The project was developed by Krupp for the Wehrmacht under the supervision of Ferdinand Porsche. Although mass production was planned, only two incomplete prototypes were built. After being captured by the Red Army in 1945, parts from both vehicles were combined to create one complete model, which can still be seen today at the Kubinka Tank Museum near Moscow.
