Main info

With this COBI brick set you can recreate the iconic infantry fighting vehicle in one of two versions: Polish or Ukrainian markings. Experience the satisfaction of constructing a precise model of a machine that has faithfully served in the Polish Army since the 1960s and only today is slowly giving way to more modern vehicles.

Build it and preserve a piece of history, because when it disappears from the training grounds it will live on forever in your collection.

Soviet infantry fighting vehicle in the Polish army

The BWP-1 is a Soviet infantry fighting vehicle, adopted into service in the mid-1960s. Designed as the first mass-produced vehicle of its kind, it combined mobility, amphibious capabilities and stronger armament than previously used armored personnel carriers.

The BMP-1 model became a widely exported design and for decades formed the backbone of mechanized formations in many armies around the world, including Poland. The first units arrived in Poland in 19731974. For a long time it was the basis of the Polish mechanized infantry forces, but in recent years it has become increasingly clear that its heyday is over. Poland has transferred many of its BWP-1s to fighting Ukraine. In our set we therefore give the builder a choice of Polish and Ukrainian vehicle markings!

Armed and ready!

In the basic version, the troop compartment accommodates four soldiers. Standard armament includes a 73 mm 2A28 Grom smoothbore cannon coupled with a PKT machine gun, as well as a 9M14 "Malutka" anti-tank guided missile launcher.

Combat experience on many fronts!

The BWP-1 has proven itself in numerous armed conflicts: from wars in the Middle East, through the intervention in Afghanistan and fighting in Chechnya, to modern battlefields. Combat experience highlighted its advantages, such as simple design, reliability and high mobility. At the same time, its limitations were revealed, primarily the relatively weak armor and outdated weapons systems, which over time began to lag behind modern standards.

This set is two faces of one machine! One box, many stories, endless fun building!

Special features of the BWP-1 (Infantry Fighting Vehicle 2 in 1 PL/UKR) set:

2-in-1 This set gives you the option to choose which version you want to build. Do you prefer Polish or Ukrainian markings? It's your tank and your choice. And remember, you can always change your mind and swap the markings for the other model.

1:35 scale - Modeled in this scale, the combat vehicle provides exceptional detail and realism. The model looks incredibly impressive, reflecting the historical proportions and characteristic details.

Figure included - The set includes a figure of a warrant officer in full uniform. The figure holds a Polish PM-63 "Rak" submachine gun, which dates back to the time when the BWP-1 was new!

Nameplate collector's item - The set includes a white brick plaque with the set name and scale. The inscription is in Polish and English. Such an addition is always pleasing to the collector's eye.

756 elements - The set contains precisely made bricks that allow you to build a realistic model in a faithfully reproduced historical camouflage. The models are distinguished by attention to detail and fidelity to the original.

Realistic tracks and wheels - Rotating wheels and tracks ensure smooth movement of the models. The running gear replicates the construction of the original, so the models can serve as both exhibits and toys for younger builders.

High-quality workmanship - Durable bricks, aesthetic finish and reliable construction ensure satisfaction with the build and many years of durability of the model.

Movable elements - The model has opening rear and top hatches, a rotating turret and a gun that can be raised and lowered, which is a very useful option when recreating battle scenes.

Simple and intuitive instructions - Thanks to the clear instructions, building the models is easy and enjoyable. Suitable for both experienced modelers and beginners.

Durable prints - All markings are printed directly on the bricks, ensuring durability and resistance to abrasion.

Age: 9+ - The set is ideal for experienced modelers and older children who want to build a unique model for their collection.

Extensive collection - Check out other vehicles from the ARMED FORCES series and create your own collection of machines that participated in the most important battles of the 20th century.

This BWP-1 2-in-1 brick set (PL/UKR) is a small piece of history that you can build yourself. Whether you choose Polish or Ukrainian markings, this set allows you to create and display an iconic vehicle, complete with a figure of a standard-bearer and a bilingual collector's plaque.
