The M1130 Commander's Vehicle is a nice asset. It bridges the gap between heavy mechanized forces and light infantry. The commander's vehicle can track almost everything on the battlefield using a video terminal. The commander can identify units by clicking on their icons with the hand pointer. The command variant of the Stryker allows the commander to control events away from the tactical operations center. While the M1130 can carry 36,133 pounds of equipment, it is not reduced to snail's pace during battle. In tests, it covered 150 feet in 9 seconds and can reach speeds of up to 60 mph. It is fast, agile and quiet. It works even better in urban terrain and can go where tanks can't. Compared to older vehicles, this vehicle can easily cross mountainous terrain. In addition, a .50 caliber machine gun is mounted on top of the CV, and a grenade launcher can also be added.
