The Leopard 2A7A1 is the latest evolution of the successful Leopard series. The German Armed Forces are investing more than 525.6 million euros in this modernization of their tank fleet, placing an order for 17 units. The optionally available Trophy protection system makes it one of the best-protected main battle tanks in the world. The further development of the Leopard 2A8, with a planned order of 105 units, is already firmly scheduled.
