Das Reisestativ Compact Traveler No. 1 von Rollei ist ein Dreibeinstativ aus Aluminium mit einer maximalen Belastbarkeit von 5 kg, einer Transportlänge (Packmaß) von 31,5 cm und einer Arbeitshöhe von 32 - 134 cm. Das mit einer Schnellwechselplatte versehene Stativ bringt eine schwenkbare Mittelsäule, Füße aus Gummi und einen stabilen Aluminium-Panorama-Kugelkopf mit, sein Gesamtgewicht beträgt nur 1.170 Gramm.

Das geringe Packmaß kommt beim Compact Traveler No. 1 von Rollei durch die um 180° klappbaren Stativbeine zustande, gleichzeitig ist dieses Reisestativ durch die Bauart in Aluminium sehr leicht. Die 1.170 Gramm Gewicht beziehen sich auf das Stativ plus Schnellwechselplatte. Mit der Schnellklemmverschraubung bauen Fotografen das Stativ blitzschnell auf und ab, das Handling erleichtert ein rutschfester Schaumstoffgriff, der auch bei Kälte den sicheren an den Stativbeinen gewährleistet. Der um 360° drehbare Mittelsäulenhaken ermöglicht die Befestigung von höherem Gewicht, die maximale Traglast wird mit 5 kg angegeben. Hersteller Rollei hat das farbenfrohe Compact Traveler No. 1 Reisestativ speziell für Outdoor- und Reise-Fotografen konzipiert. Die 5-fach Stativbein-Verstellung ermöglicht auch eine Makrostellung, der FPH-53P Panorama-Kugelkopf ist mit drei Wasserwaagen sowie einer 1/4"-Stativkopfschraube ausgestattet. Die maximale Arbeitshöhe beträgt 134 cm, auf drei Beinen kann das Reisestativ auf minimale 32 cm eingestellt werden, beim "Umstülpen" der Beine in Makrostativ-Position kommt eine effektive Höhe von 0 cm zustande. Alternativ drehen die Fotografen die Mittelsäule um. Bemerkenswert sind die Stabilität der Metallbeine und ihre bequeme Fixierung über Drehklemmen, die den Aufbau blitzschnell vonstattengehen lässt. Die größte Stabilität erreichen Verwender, wenn sie den untersten Teil der Beine, der sehr dünn ist (1 cm Durchmesser), nicht ausziehen, was allerdings 22 cm an Höhe kostet. Die Mittelsäule selbst hält ein Schraubverschluss, drei breite Flügel vereinfachen sehr das Aufschrauben. Insgesamt kann das Reisestativ Compact Traveler No. 1 von Rollei hinsichtlich seiner Funktionen rundum überzeugen.
