The Neewer N12 is a mini flash designed for those looking for a simple and convenient way to improve the lighting in their photos. The model offers 8 power levels, a color temperature of 5600K, and a built-in battery charged via USB-C, allowing you to use it almost immediately after connecting it to your camera.

Lightweight and portable design

One of the Neewer N12’s biggest advantages is its compact size. The light fits easily in your hand, pocket, or a small camera bag, so you can take it practically anywhere. Its light weight means it doesn’t weigh down your camera while shooting, which will be especially appreciated by those who shoot on the go or use small mirrorless cameras. The minimalist black housing blends well with most photography gear.

Precise light control

The N12 offers 8 flash power levels ranging from 1/1 to 1/128, allowing you to precisely adjust the light intensity to the conditions and nature of the shot. Lower settings are ideal for subtly illuminating faces or details, while higher power helps brighten the frame in darker environments. The 5600K color temperature corresponds to daylight, ensuring that photos retain a natural look and realistic colors. The GN12 guide number works best when shooting from a distance of up to approximately 3 meters.

Built-in battery and convenient charging

The flash is equipped with a 3.7V lithium battery with a capacity of 350 mAh, which allows for approximately 500–700 flashes on a single charge. This allows you to comfortably use the device during photo shoots without having to frequently connect it to a power source. Charging is done via a modern USB-C port, making it easy to use popular chargers, power banks, or laptops. A recycling time of 1 to 7 seconds allows you to prepare the flash for subsequent shots depending on the selected power level.

Simple operation and a clear LCD screen

On the back of the device is a small LCD screen displaying the current flash power level and battery charge status. This ensures that all essential information is always visible during operation. Operating the flash is intuitive and relies on the power button and the "P" function button, which allows for quick changes to settings. This makes the model well-suited for those just starting to use additional photography lighting.

Compatibility and Package Contents

The Neewer N12 is compatible with cameras equipped with a standard hot shoe with a center contact. The flash operates in manual mode and does not support TTL or camera menu control, so settings are adjusted directly on the unit. This model is not compatible with select Canon cameras lacking a center contact, such as the EOS Rebel SL3/250D, Rebel T7/1500D/2000D, and Rebel T100/3000D/4000D. The kit includes the Neewer N12 flash, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a user manual.
