The Yukon Photon XT 4.6x42 S is a digital night vision rifle scope suitable for use during day and night. The Photon has a built-in infrared illuminator (adjustable in three strengths), which enables you to target and shoot up to 120 meters in complete darkness. Because this night-time viewer is digital, it displays a black and white image both day and night. The contrast of this digital image can be adjusted using the menu button on the side of the viewer. This button can also be used to switch between the different (color) thread crosses. The Reticle has 4 options, each option is available in red, green and white.

Photon's high shock resistance (up to 6000 joule) makes it possible to use it on a variety of weapons. Due to the 30mm tube, which is often also standard for many rifle scopes, this digital night rifle scope can be mounted on virtually any weapon. The Yukon Photon XT 4.6x42 S features a weaver rail assembly, which makes it possible to add an additional illuminator. The additional available illuminators can be found at optional accessories.

The power supply of the Yukon Photon XT 4.6x42 S is 2x internal AA batteries, which allows you to use the night shift viewer and illuminator until 5 hours. The batteries are included with the night rifle scope. The lens cap is specially designed to reduce light transmission.

The difference between the Yukon Photon XT 4.6x42 S and the Photon XT 4.6x42 L is the internal illuminator. In the S version this is an LED 810 which is 120 mW strong and in the L version this is a Type 1 Laser 780. The difference is in the detection distance, this is for the S version 120 meters and at the L version 170 meters. The detection distance is based on normal weather conditions and one fourth moon.

Usage Yukon Photon XT 4.6x42 S

A very good digital night rifle scope with a longer battery life and lighter weight than its competitors. The Yukon Photon XT 4.6x42 S can be used throughout the day and night and is easy to mount due to its 30mm tube that is commonly for rifle scopes.
