The lightweight Byomic Junior Telescope comes with a sturdy, adjustable aluminum tripod. This stable base gives young stargazers an excellent platform to get up close with planets and stars. Thanks to the built-in compass, you can easily point to the right celestial objects.

Explore space using two different eyepieces: one with a 20 mm focal length and one with 12.5 mm. These eyepieces provide magnifications of 20x and 32x, respectively. Start with the lower magnification for the brightest views, then increase it as you get more comfortable with your telescope.

The included finder scope helps you accurately aim at your target in the sky. Align the finder scope with your telescope by using a distant object during the day — like a streetlamp about 200 meters away — as your reference point. When properly adjusted, the view through the eyepiece will show you the same object much closer.
