Peamised omadused

Quantum LTO-8 medium on Ultrium standardil põhinev magnetlindi kassett, mis pakub suurt salvestusmahtu ja stabiilset andmeedastust. Natiivne mahutavus on 12 TB; kasutades tööstuse standardset 2,5:1 andmete kokkusurumist, tõuseb teoreetiline mahutavus kuni 30 TB, mis sobib eriti hästi pikema aja arhiveerimiseks ja suurte varundustehoitudega keskkondadesse.


Sobiv kasutus

Kassett on mõeldud suuremahuliste varunduste, pikaajalise arhiveerimise ning meedia- ja tootmisrakenduste jaoks, kus on oluline sujuv andmevoog. "Streaming media" klass tagab, et lind suudab hoida stabiilset andmeedastust ilma sagedaste peatusteta — kasulik video- ja helitöövoogude ning suurte failide järjestikuse kirjutamise puhul.
