<b>D6-320<br>6-bay USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps <br>External Hard Disk Enclosure<br></b><br><br><b>High speed</b><br><br>With adoption of the USB3.2 Gen2 protocol, D6-320 provides a 10Gbps data transmission bandwidth, with the actual read/write speed up to 1,016MB/s when 6 hard drives are installed (WD Red 8TB x 6 simultaneously read/write); with only one hard disk installed, the read speed could reach 510MB/s (WD Red 1TB SSD x 1).<br><br><b>Super-large Storage Space</b><br><br>D6-320 supports up to 6 hard drives and a maximum drive capacity of 22TB (the compatibility with larger hard drives not verified yet), providing users with a storage space up to 132TB (22TB x 6). Remark: D6-320 does not have the function of array, and only supports single-disk working mode. To create an array, you need to use a third-party soft array management tool.<br><br><b>Compatible with hard disks in different kinds</b><br><br>D6-320 is compatible with various hard disks, such as 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA hard disks, and 2.5-inch SATA SSD. Remark: using incompatible hard disk may cause your device disconnected, with low speed and failure in hard disk recognition. Before you purchase, please be sure to check the compatibility list of TerraMaster hard disks.<br><br><b>Highly Compatible Interface</b><br><br>D6-320 is equipped with a USB Type-C interface and a USB typeC-type C cable (0.8 meter in length), and could be compatible with a variety of computer interfaces: USB 3.0/USB 3.1/USB 3.2/Thunderbolt 3/Thunderbolt 4 .<br><br><b>Hot Swap<br></b><br>D6-320 supports hot swapping. You can replace the hard disk when the device is powered on, making data transfer more convenient.<br><br><b>Expansion of NAS Storage Space</b><br><br>D6-320 can be connected to the USB interface of TerraMaster NAS after special adaptation and adjustment. Creating arrays and storage pools on D6-320 with TerraMaster TOS could expand the storage space of NAS. Remark: this function works only on TerraMaster NAS running TOS 5.1 or above.<br><br><b>Intelligent Disk Sleep</b><br><br>D6-320 supports the sleep function, which can follow the computer OS to sleep, effectively reducing the working duration and power consumption of the hard disk, and extending its service life.<br><br><b>Safer</b><br><br>To prevent equipment and hard disk from being damaged by use of an improper power supply, D6-320 adopts the power supply protection. In case of an improper power supply connected, the device will enable automatic protection to prevent itself and the hard disk from damage.<br><br><b>Better Heat Dissipation</b><br><br>D6-320 adopts an intelligent temperature-controlled and low-noise fan that adjusts its speed automatically based on the temperature of the hard disk to ensure the hard disk to work at the best operating temperature. Furthermore, the internal structure of the device is specially optimized, which not only effectively increases the internal air pressure and reduces the working temperature of the hard disk, but also greatly reduces the resonance between device components and the hard disk. With this feature, D6-320 can maintain satisfactory low noise even under a full-load working environment.<br><br><b>Small and Compact Design</b><br><br>D6-320 is of an all-metal fuselage with a compact structure. Through structural optimization, the space occupation is greatly reduced, thus reaching a small size.
