The flat 1U height allows for installation in compact, including hanging, 19" RACK cabinets, which saves space in the office, home, or garage. Lanberg opted for a flat design, but did not compromise: all models offer broad compatibility with various motherboard standards, from Mini-ITX to E-ATX and SSI EEB. An airy front, adjustable PWM fans, numerous slots for hard drives and SSDs, solid 1.2 mm galvanized steel, a rich I/O panel, and a package of useful accessories - these are the elements that unite all Lanberg 1U RACK cases into one coherent family.

For the most demanding users, Lanberg has prepared the SC01-6501-12B model - one of the few 1U RACK enclosures capable of accommodating E-ATX and SSI EEB boards and several PCI expansion cards. This is an option for enthusiasts who want to build a server with high computing power while maintaining a minimum height of 1U. As with other 1U models, the choice of processor and cooling should be considered in terms of limited space and operating temperature optimization.

Advanced cooling - 8 x 40 mm PWM fans
The top-of-the-line 1U SC01-6501-12B model features 8 x 40 mm PWM fans (with the option to install two additional fans on the rear panel of the chassis) that maintain high airflow. Speed control in the range of 4000-8000 RPM and a maximum noise level of 24 dB allow for low noise levels while effectively cooling high-power components even under prolonged load.

Easy expansion thanks to space for multiple hard drives and SSDs
The SC01-6501-12B in its standard configuration offers 4 drive bays - users can choose to install 4 high-capacity 3.5" HDDs or 4 fast 2.5" SSDs. This provides a solid foundation for creating a large RAID array or a flexible combination of storage devices for various purposes. Importantly, thanks to the use of a suitably short FLEX power supply, it is possible to add another 2.5" SSD drive, which increases the total storage space without interfering with the compact design of the case. An additional advantage is the possibility of installing one more SSD drive if the user chooses a smaller motherboard - Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX - which frees up additional space inside the case. As a result, the SC01-6501-12B allows for the installation of up to 6 storage devices, providing tremendous flexibility when building advanced file servers, complex NAS systems, or virtualization environments.

Robustly constructed server cases: durability and damage resistance
Each Lanberg RACK 1U server case is made of 1.2 mm thick galvanized steel, which significantly exceeds the industry standard and distinguishes it from competing solutions. The greater thickness of the material translates into higher mechanical resistance - the chassis effectively protects components from deformation, accidental impacts, and micro-vibrations, which in the long term could affect the stability of the server. The robust design is also less susceptible to wear and tear during many years of operation, frequent assembly and disassembly in RACK cabinets, or transport between locations. As a result, the device not only protects components from external factors such as dust or shocks, but also ensures the durability and reliability of the server infrastructure for many years of intensive use.

Connect multiple components to a rich I/O panel
The front panel of the case features two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and Power and Reset buttons, making it extremely convenient to quickly connect a flash drive, external drive, or service keyboard. The front I/O panel saves the administrator time and facilitates system configuration, firmware updates, and diagnostics-without having to reach behind the case or manipulate cables in hard-to-reach places. It is a simple yet extremely practical solution that speeds up server operation and maintenance.

The box contains two 4-PIN PWM splitters, allowing you to connect multiple fans and conveniently manage their speed, a set of sturdy M6 screws for secure mounting in a RACK cabinet, and a replaceable dust filter that protects the interior of the case from contamination and extends the life of the components. The set is complemented by a special bracket that allows the installation of a FLEX power supply with a length of up to 330 mm - this allows the use of powerful, high-efficiency units capable of handling the most demanding dual-CPU configurations with multiple drives and expansion cards.
