The SilverStone RM32 is a 3U rackmount chassis designed specifically for high-performance rackmount workstations and servers with large-format, high-end GPUs. It supports motherboards up to the SSI-EEB standard, has four full-height PCIe expansion slots for graphics cards up to 177mm wide (or 162mm with redundant CRPS power supply), is compatible with redundant SFX-L or 2U CRPS power supplies, accommodates radiators up to 360mm in a six-fan push-pull configuration, and comes with a PCIe riser cable delivered. This makes it the ideal solution for rendering workstations, deep learning workstations, virtualization servers and rackmount AI systems that require GPU expansion in the 3U form factor. The main differentiator of the RM32 compared to other SilverStone 3U cases is the use of a PCIe riser cable that rotates the expansion slots 90 degrees. This means that even high-end graphics cards with two or three slots (up to 177 mm wide) can be installed in a compact 3U case. This solution, common in high-end workstation chassis, allows GPUs such as the NVIDIA RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and their AMD counterparts to be installed in rack configurations without the need for a 4U or 5U chassis. The maximum height of the CPU cooler is reduced to 86 mm when positioned below the riser cable; in standard positions it is still 110 mm. The front cooling system supports up to six 120mm fans in a push-pull configuration (3+3) with AIO radiators up to 360mm and a maximum total thickness of 80mm (fan + radiator). Two 60 mm fans on the rear I/O panel ensure the exhaust of warm air. The SFX-L PSU or 2U redundant CRPS module can be up to 250mm long (unlimited when removing the 3.5" bay), making it compatible with high-performance drives such as the 1200W SFX-L PSU. The front I/O panel features one USB Type-C port and two USB 3.0 ports, as well as four status LEDs for instant visual monitoring. Compatibility with SilverStone RMS01/RMS09-20 rails allows for professional installation in any standard 19" rack.
