Levenhuk LabZZ – brand new microscopes designed especially for the youngest microcosm explorers. Levenhuk LabZZ microscopes feature uniquely shaped bodies of beautiful translucent colors: moonstone, amethyst, azure, and lime. Each model is supplemented with a Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit, which contains everything needed for independent research at home. The enclosed colorful user guide makes for interesting and informative reading for a young researcher.

Levenhuk LabZZ microscopes are equipped with three quality objective lenses (4x, 10x, and 40x), WF10x-16x sliding two-position eyepiece, and provide magnification power up to 640x. Quality optics create truly bright, sharp, and vivid images of observed samples. The microscopes are equipped with lower variable brightness LED illumination, allowing you to observe transparent samples in transmitted light.

Excellent optics
Although Levenhuk LabZZ M101 Lime is a microscope designed for children, its optics are comparable to many ‘adult’ microscopes available on the market. The revolving nosepiece has three objective lenses – that allows you to quickly change magnification power of the instrument without pausing your observations. Moreover, the microscope is equipped with a sliding eyepiece with 10x and 16x magnifications. It is more convenient than two separate eyepieces – a kid won’t need to change them; therefore they won’t get lost. It is very easy to use. The microscope provides six levels of magnification: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x and 640x.

Observing microscope samples
The microscope is designed for viewing microscope objects in transmitted light – you can use prepared specimens from the kit or make your own. The prrepared specimen should be placed on the stage and fixed with two clips – then it won’t move even if you accidently nudge the instrument. Light (emitted by lower illumination source) passes through the studied sample and creates the magnified image in the eyepiece. The brightness is adjustable, as different samples require different level of light.

Convenience and safety
A child doesn't need a heavy professional instrument. More importantly, it should be lightweight and reliable at the same time. The microscope body is made or high-quality plastic; that’s why the microscope is lightweight, yet durable and reliable. A young researcher won’t get tired thanks to the convenient 45-degrees inclined head. The illumination is powered by batteries, so it can be taken places with no power outlets, including outdoors.

The kit includes everything needed for conducting interesting experiments with the microscope. It includes ready-to-use specimens, special tools for microscopic work, everything for breeding shrimp, and a user guide.
